Our office uses a hydrogen peroxide bleaching gel to break down stains powerfully, but gently.

While over-the-counter whitening strips and topical treatments have gained popularity, they do not provide the same dramatic, safe results that professional teeth whitening can help you achieve. Although some patients may experience mild sensitivity and gum irritation after treatment, the side effects are temporary and should diminish a few hours after the procedure.

In-office vs. Take-home Whitening
For your convenience, we offer both in-office and take-home teeth whitening treatments. We will recommend which procedure to undergo based on your concerns and goals.

In-office
For the most instant, dramatic results, we recommend in-office whitening treatment. Under the supervision of our team, we are able to use stronger chemical compounds to deliver instantly noticeable results. We use ZOOM!® whitening, which can brighten your smile up to eight shades in a single treatment. 

Over the course of your procedure, we will apply several rounds of whitening gel to the surface of your teeth and activate the compound with a special light. Once your treatment is complete, we will compare your new smile to your previous smile to assess your results and determine whether additional treatment is needed to help you meet your goals.

Take-home
Take-home whitening treatments are a cost-effective way to brighten your smile over the course of a few weeks. Our office will provide you with custom whitening trays that fit securely on your teeth to allow for the most comfortable and effective application of the whitening gel. We also provide easy-to-use syringes of whitening gel, so that you can fill your custom trays with greater ease.

Depending on your needs, we may prescribe the Opalescence® teeth whitening system or another highly advanced material that best suits your smile. The whitening agent used for take-home treatments contains a lower concentration of peroxide than in-office materials, but can still provide dramatic results over time. During your consultation, we will discuss your whitening routine. Most patients wear their trays for 30 minutes to several hours at a time, or even overnight.
